If you'd like to extend your trip to the Dominican Republic so that it includes a visit to Puerto Rico, Ferries del Caribe has you covered.

Ferries del Caribe offers overnight transport from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and back three times each week. The trip lasts 14 hours, and is more similar to a cruise experience than a ferry service. There are dozens of activities to participate in during the trip, such as gambling at the on-board casino, disco dancing, belly dancing shows, live music, family entertainment, kids' play rooms, television, and more. Babysitting is also available upon request.

Guests may bring with them up to 3 pieces of luggage for free, as well as a pet, which may stay in the designated cargo area, and your vehicle may be transported as well.

Cash and credit cards are acceptable methods of payment, and checks are not accepted. A $100 fee will be charged if you wish to change your reservation after tickets have been booked, and group discounts are available.

A meal plan is also available, for an additional $35.95 person. This includes two dinner and two breakfast vouchers at the Seven Seas Buffet Restaurant. Guests are also welcome to purchase meals at the Blue Riband A La Carte Restaurant. Meals are served between 6 am and 9 am, as well as 6 pm and 11 pm at both establishments.
