Hungry? Experience the Dominican Republic's culture and history by sampling the ingredients that have become staples of their cuisine. With food available all day and night long, guests of the hotel can sample many of the island's great dishes and snacks at two restaurants and various other food stations.
In addition, guests can sample the cuisine at the other Riu resorts in Puerto Plata. Sodas and alcoholic drinks are served until 2 a.m. for late nighters, and they're all included in your guest package for free.
Most of the meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - are served buffet style. However, with advance reservations, guests can access other cuisines at restaurants on the resort site including a steaks and Italian food.
There are two restaurants at the Riu Mambo, which allow guests to dine with comfort and convenience.
The following table lists the on-site restaurants at the Riu Mambo.
| Restaurant Name | Cuisine | Meals Served | Style |
|---|---|---|---|
| Los Almendros | -- | -- | -- |
| Los Almendros | Buffet | -- | -- |
The resort has a snack bar too, so guests with busy itineraries can load up on quick eats. Thirsty? There are also 4 different bars located on the property.
Vacations at the Riu Mambo are all-inclusive, which means dining is likely included in the total cost, so guests are able to enjoy many of their meals at the resort. Those who want to discover other kinds of cuisine will find other dining options at the area's local restaurants.
