During your trip to the Dominican Republic, it's never a bad idea to sample some authentic cuisine from the area's unique restaurants. Just like everything else at Casa de Campo, dining choices are varied and wonderful. There are at least three dozen restaurants and lounges on the site.
Cuisine from casual to exotic is available at one restaurant or another at the resort. Probably the most famous and most-desired dining locations is the Beach Club by Le Cirque. The owners of Le Cirque Restaurant in New York City have partnered with Casa de Campo to create a unique dining experience on the resort's private beach. Le Cirque brings their world-renowned menu to Casa de Campo for an exquisite dining experience combined with the beauty of the ocean. You really must check out this restaurant while at the resort.
For traditional Carribean flavor, Le Boulanger, La Cana, Lago Grill, and Onno's are the places to go. Each offers a wide variety of choices all with the authentic flavor and preparation style you would expect. Atmospheres vary from casual to formal at these locations.
If you're in the mood for seafood, again your list of choices is pretty extensive. La Casita, Peperoni, and Osteria le Botti top the list. For Italian, or more generally Mediterannean food, Pizzeria Ristorante Limoncello, La Cana, and La Piazetta are available for your dining pleasure. For other types of food, try Chinois for a wonderful variety asian foods, or for a lighter, wide selection menu the Block & Barrel Gourmet Deli, Papa Jacks and Lago Grill are great choices. And for dessert, head to Il Pisakio, an ice cream shop with plenty of ice cream choices and a variety of other tasty treats for those not into ice cream.
The Casa de Campo has an impressive selection of on-site dining options, which means you won't need to go far to sample the Dominican Republic's fine foods. Those staying in the Dominican Republic for a week or longer will especially appreciate the variety of choices.
