Activities and Recreation at Casa de Campo

The Dominican Republic offers a number of ways for visitors to stay busy, no matter what type of vacation you want to have. The Casa de Campo is an excellent property for visitors who want to have several on-site choices and give new activities a try.

Water and Fitness

Though this hotel does not have a pool as one of its amenities, this hasn't deterred guests from staying here. Generally travelers set aside some time to discover a few of the Dominican Republic's gorgeous beaches. The nearest beach to the hotel, La Minitas, is about one and a quarter miles away. Ease into the warm, bubbling hot tub at this hotel for a sandless, stressless way to enjoy the water.

Fitness nuts won't need to put their workout routines on pause at this hotel; there is an exercise facility on-site.

Tennis

The Casa de Campo is an excellent choice for tennis players, because vacationers staying here can enjoy some time on the court without leaving the property. Players probably won't have to compete for an open court, considering there are 13 of them. Plus, the courts here are equipped with lighting so you'll never have to cut your match short. The on-site tennis pro can help get you situated on the court, even if you've never played before.

Golf

Another nearby course, Romana Country Club, is just a mile north west of the Casa de Campo. The course has a total of 18 holes. It's a par 72 course, and is 7191 yards long.

Watersports

You won't find hotel-sponsored watersports here, but in an area full of beach-happy tourists, it won't be hard to find vendors ready to rent their equipment.

Family Activities

Vacationers traveling with kids might find exactly what they need at the Casa de Campo, which has your choice of several children's amenities.

This hotel does have a game room, where both kids and grown-ups can pass hours of downtime. There's a playground too, where where your kids can safely expend some of their energy outdoors. The hotel offers an organized kids' program, too. At some point during your vacation, you may find yourself wanting to spend a little time away from the kids. Guests can make arrangements for a babysitter, so parents will have a chance for some peace and quiet, or a night out by themselves.

Entertainment and Nightlife

The Casa de Campo features live entertainment, so even when guests stay inside for the night, they won't miss the Dominican Republic's best acts. Guests can usually catch live entertainment 5 to 6 days per week. Needless to say, the specifics can vary with the season.

Another reason to spend time at this hotel is their many different bars, so guests can choose to meet up at their favorite one before the show.

At the hotel's on-site casino you might just have to try your hand at a few table games.

Spa

Not all hotels in the Dominican Republic have a spa on the premises, but the Casa de Campo is one of the few in the area that is able to offer its guests an effortless way to get properly pampered. The following table lists some of the spa services that are available:
